Who We Are

At our core, IGH Steel is a family-run business on a mission to serve our customers and community.

For many years, Scott and Penny Nirider worked in the manufacturing and metal fabrication industry before the economy slowed to a snail’s pace in 2009. While Penny had been laid off, Scott’s company was moving toward total liquidation. They considered their combined experience and what they would have done differently had the companies they worked for been their own.

They prayed through the entire process and overcame many obstacles by placing their company “In God’s Hands” daily. They decided that continually putting things “In God’s Hands” needed to be the highest priority of the business, so they called their company “IGH” Steel Fabrication, Inc.

In 2020, after years of working in various positions in the company, Penny and Scott’s sons, Jim and John, started taking over the day-to-day operations. Both have worked almost every position in the company so that they could have a sound understanding of what goes into the business and how to effectively manage it moving forward.

As of January 2025, Jim and John have officially taken over, still honoring and representing the family-focused vision of helping our customers, community, and team.

Now, IGH Steel is bigger than ever as a full-service metal fabrication company with over 60 employees, a comprehensive quality department, and the capacity to handle any type of project, no matter how big, small, custom, or bulk.
